Do you find yourself frustrated with being “stuck” where you’re at in life? …longing for the day that everything will be the way you want it to be? …thinking how great it will be when “x y z” happens?

Remember that life is a journey, and you’re meant to be where you are now.

Enjoy, savor, and relish the place along you’re life journey you’re in now.

Yes, continue working to be better, learn more, achieve more, help more people around you, and making progress in life.

…but not while resenting where you are right now!

God wants you to become GREAT in the season you’re in NOW! He wants us to make the most of where we are and what we have now. If you want Him to bless you with great success, you have to first be faithful in the “small things”, where you are now.
“He that is faithful in a very little is faithful also in much: and he that is unrighteous in a very little is unrighteous also in much.” – Luke 16:10
Yes, make the most of where you are at in life right now, become GREAT at the season you’re in.

Everyone remembers the triumphant story of David defeating Goliath, the epic underdog story. And we think of our future success that we want so badly in the same way…thinking how great it will be when we defeat our Goliath and reach the pinnacle of success.

But the only way David was able to succeed in that battle was by first being GREAT in the previous season of being a lowly shepherd.

As a shepherd caring for the flock, when a lion or bear came along, he would chase after them and strike them with a rock with his slingshot and kill them.

Instead of resenting being a shepherd while all his brothers got better treatment, he did the best job he could in that season of life.

If he hadn’t faced the lions or bears, he wouldn’t have known what to do with Goliath along with the rest of Israel. It was those challenges that trained him to take out that giant.

Choose to be great in the season God has you in now, so that when your time for triumph and success comes, you’ll be prepared to take out the giant!
