I recently was on Skype chatting with my friend, mentor, and business partner, Lawrence Tam. If you don’t know Lawrence, he is one of the Top 5 earners in Empower Network, and also was recognized earlier this year for being the top business builder in his category in the network marketing opportunity we promote. He was freely giving out business building, money-making advice, like gold nuggets of info left and right!

I was telling him how much value I’ve received from him in helping me build my business, so we shot a quick video interview/testimonial on the spot! Check it out…

What did you just learn from that video?

I can think of several things:

1.¬†Empower Network just freaking rocks, and is THE best opportunity I’ve found in all the time I’ve been building my online business.

2. A lot of your success will be shaped by who you choose to partner up and work with. You want to choose leaders to associate with – not just because you expect them to help you, hold your hand, and guide you every step of the way to get to where they are – rather, because of the law of associations.

The Law of Association basically means that you will become like who you spend the majority of your time with. So, who are the 5 people you spend a lot of your time with?

Your broke buddy down the street, your chronically unemployed brother-in-law, or some other negative Ned who puts down everything you try? If so, you want to work alongside others who are going where you want to go.

That’s what I did in working with Lawrence Tam, and what you can do in choosing to work with me. No, I don’t talk to Lawrence every day, but I keep up with him and learn from him through his team calls, team mastermind group, and training site. And when I do speak with him, like on the Skype chat the other night, I take advantage of every minute of that time, dig deep, and ask some serious questions that can really help take my business to the next level.
